Compact M.2 PCIe NVMe Storage

AMP M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs combine a compact board-level form factor with the bandwidth and low-latency command path of PCI Express and NVMe.

The portfolio spans PCIe Gen4, Gen3 and Gen2 configurations in M.2 2230, 2242 and 2280 form factors. Capacities range from 64GB to 8TB, with 3D TLC, BiCS3 TLC, MLC and selected pSLC options.

Commercial and industrial configurations are available for compact embedded platforms, edge systems, networking equipment and other applications that require fast local storage.

M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD FAQ

What is the difference between M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA?

M.2 describes the physical form factor. NVMe drives communicate over PCI Express, while M.2 SATA drives use the SATA interface. Confirm the connector keying and the interfaces supported by the host before selecting a drive.

Which PCIe generations are available?

The portfolio includes selected PCIe Gen4 x4, Gen3 x4, Gen3 x2 and Gen2 x4 series. Actual performance depends on the drive configuration and the PCIe generation and lane count supported by the host.

Which M.2 form factors are available?

Available series include M.2 2230, 2242 and 2280 form factors. All are 22mm wide; the final two digits indicate approximate board length in millimeters. Confirm the host’s mounting position and clearance.

Are commercial- and industrial-grade options available?
