What information should I provide for a legacy replacement?

Provide the original manufacturer and part number, system model, interface, form factor, capacity, pin count or module type, operating-temperature range, required features, annual usage and expected program life.

Is the same interface and capacity enough to confirm compatibility?

No. Mechanical dimensions, connector keying, transfer modes, firmware behavior, module organization, ECC support, voltage, timing and environmental requirements may also affect compatibility.

Are commercial- and industrial-temperature versions available?

Both grades are represented across the portfolio, but not every part number is available in both grades. AMP should confirm the temperature range for the exact requested configuration.
