AMP Inc.’s 2.5″ Prime Series SSD uses a single-chip controlle with a STA inerfaaace on the system side and 8-channels of NAND Flash devices internally. The industry-standard 2.5-inch form factor enables interchangeability with existing hard disk drives (HDDs) and native SATA HDD drop-in replacement with the enhanced performance, reliability, ruggedness, and power savings offered by an SSD.
By combining controller technology with SATA 6 GB/s interface support, SATAprime series delivers sequential read / write speeds of up to 540 MB/s.
