AMP, Inc.’s 2.5″ SATA Solid Disk Drive (SSD) delivers all the advantages of flash disk technology with Serial ATA I/II/III interface, including being fully compliant with standard 2.5-inch form factor, providing low power consumption compared to traditional hard drive and hot-swapping when removing/replacing/upgrading flash disks. The device is designed based on the standard 7-pin interface for data segment and 15-pin for power segment. AMP, Inc.’s SATA offers a wide range of capacities up to 16,000 GB and its performance can reach up to 550 MB/s (for read) and 530 MB/s (for write) based on BiCS5 TLC with the choice of 8192MB DDR4. Moreover, the power consumption of the 2.5-inch SSD is much lower than traditional hard drives, making it the best embedded solution for new platforms.
